Spirited Academics - Free Virtual Beginners' Course into Academic skills
A self-paced, student-oriented course that fosters confidence, fluency and understanding of academic communication while strengthening curious minds. A certificate can be obtained upon completion of all modules.
Who can benefit from this course?
The current course is directed at high schoolers looking to understand the academic sphere and develop the necessary skills and mindsets to ease them into academia in the future. However, anyone interested in learning the ins and outs of writing, speaking, and evaluating sources and information is welcome to use these resources.
How does it work?
Students will gain access to a platform with 10 modules. Each module contains either a video or a text-based lesson, an activity and feedback section. The 10th module will provide instructions on the self-directed research project that will guarantee a certificate upon submission!
Where does the course operate?
This course is available on notion, and may use google forms to asses knowledge or provide activities.
